Meet Mohabir Persaud (Mo)
Mohabir Persaud is a dedicated Fire & Life Safety Professional, Security Instructor, CPR Instructor, and corporate security leader with nearly two decades of experience in fire safety, security operations, emergency preparedness, and public safety training.
A graduate of the University of Arizona Global Campus, Mo earned their degree in Criminal Justice and Homeland Security with a summa cum laude GPA, demonstrating a strong commitment to excellence, leadership, and professional development. They are currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice and are only five classes away from graduation.
Mo began their career as a Security Officer more than 19 years ago and has steadily advanced through the industry through hard work, leadership, and hands-on experience. Since 2008, they have served within a major corporate environment, where they currently hold the rank of Sergeant, overseeing security operations, emergency response, and life safety procedures.
With over a decade of experience as a Fire & Life Safety Director (FLSD), Mo has worked in a wide range of occupancies including office buildings, hospitals, hotels, and large commercial properties throughout New York City.
As a certified Fire Safety Director Instructor, Mo has successfully trained and mentored numerous candidates preparing for the FDNY On-Site Examination, proudly maintaining a strong student success record and helping many students pass successfully.
In addition to training, Mo has consulted with various buildings and organizations regarding fire safety procedures, security operations, emergency preparedness, system renovations, and compliance with FDNY fire codes and industry standards.
Driven by a passion for serving the community, Mo became a Security Instructor to help others navigate the evolving demands of the security and safety industries.
Whether teaching CPR, Fire & Life Safety, or Security Training, Mo brings professionalism, leadership, experience, and a genuine commitment to every student and client they serve.
